Kreamer. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near South Amboy, New Jersey, c. 1954. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #646, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata in March of 1918 and retired in November of 1957 after 39 years of service. It will soon arrive at the South Amboy Station with a four-car passenger train, where it'll be uncoupled and replaced by a GG-1 that will then pull the train into New York City. (#2 of 9) |
