NS train No. 314 rolls by Frenchmen Street on the NS New Orleans Terminal behind a trio of Union Pacific SD40-2s: 3424, 3973, and B4251. UP 3973 is the highest numbered former Missouri Pacific SD40-2 with dynamic brakes originally built in the series MP 6000 though MP 6073. After the UP-MP merger these locomotives were renumbered UP 3900 through UP 3973.
