East Texas Central (ETC)
Description:
When I was there, the CALM had stopped operating the line, and the East Texas Central was running trains. So said the train crew when I asked for permission to be on-site. The CALM still existed, but was subleasing to ETC or something like that. On Sunday, this train was arriving from the northern end of the line with carloads of roofing granules.

The ETC crew dropped the loads in the yard and are about to couple onto a long string of gravel loads. The PREX geep was smoking like crazy regardless of engine load.
