This one was built in October of 1937 and served until being scrapped in December of 1959. Specs - H1c class, 75" drivers, 275 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 354,000 lb and tractive effort of 45,254 lb. This is a James Bowie photo.The class H1c, d & e would go on to earn the title "Royal Hudson" after transporting the royal visitiors around Canada during 1939. |
