Here is the 18th of 33 color prints of calendar art works that were commissioned by the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1925 through 1958. Shown here is Dean Cornwell's painting entitled "Serving The Nation." It was published originally in 1943. Depicted here is PRR engine #6713, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in August of 1944, and retired in December of 1956 after 26 years of faithful service.

Right-Hand Illustration: Depicted here is PRR engine #6713, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in August of 1944, and retired in December of 1956 after 26 years of faithful service.
